INITIAL ASSESSMENT/ORAL EXAMINATION

A complete examination, including x-rays, if necessary, will be done initially to assess a new patient's periodontal condition. All concerns are addressed and data is collected.

SCALING/ROOT PLANING

Removal of plaque, calculus (hard and soft bacterial deposits) above and below the gum line. This is essential for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

POLISHING

Removal of extrinsic stains such as those caused by coffee and smoking. Polishing can also be done any time between cleanings for your teeth to look their best.

FLUORIDE

We offer fluoride treatment to strengthen and remineralize tooth enamel, mainly to prevent or stop tooth decay and to support the remineralization process.

DESENSITIZING

Extremely sensitive teeth can be treated by applying a desensitizing liquid or varnish which blocks exposed dentin and helps to reduce pain and sensitivity.

SEALANTS

To prevent bacteria from entering pits and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth, we flow sealants into these areas and harden them with high intensity blue light.

SPORTS GUARDS

Custom-fitted mouth guards to help prevent injuries during sports activities.

WHITENING TREATMENTS
